The Dance Project – Autumn Term 2017
Our Term begins Tuesday 12th September. Half term Tuesday 24th October. End of term Tuesday 12th December.
I hope you have had a super summer and are feeling rested and revitalised! I am looking forward to our new term and am delighted now to be a full time dance teacher working in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.
We have had some lovely creative dance workshops over the summer with some great feedback form parents and students. Thank you to all who attended and to Hannah Davis and Bea Helmsley for being amazing helpers! Do keep your eye on our Facebook page for further workshops and events.
As you may know my passion in dance is inclusiveness and creativity. I have indulged in this during the summer attending workshops with English National Ballet, working on inclusive dance practice for children and with The Royal Academy of Dance – looking at Inclusive dance practice for adults and the older learner. I will be now running dance classes for the over 55’s through The RAD Silver Swans programme and will also be assisting with dance classes for Parkinson’s. Guildford Dance Festival
So, proud of our dancers who recently danced at The Guildford Dance Festival. All dancers entered gained 82 marks or above.
A special mention for Sophie Busswell winning 3rd place for her character. Also to Bea Hemsley winning 2nd Place in her Song and Dance section. We are all very proud of you.

Royal Academy Dance Exams
A Huge Congratulations to all our students who recently entered for their Royal Academy of Dance Exams. Students from Pre-Primary up to Intermediate. 100% pass rate! With some high distinctions. Well done!
